After more than a year of in-depth research and over 20 thematic discussions, China Railway Construction Engineering Group selected 3mm S32001 Duplex stainless steel plate for the column curtain wall decoration of Chongqing East Station. This material was chosen from four options (steel plate, aluminum plate, and fiber-reinforced composite materials) due to its lightweight nature, strong metallic texture, ease of installation, excellent corrosion resistance, good processability, and suitability for double-curvature forming.
